When a loved one is lost

When a loved one is lost, it really hurts and it hurts twice as much when we have not been able to accompany our family member and say goodbye. It hurts not to be able to hug them, to kiss them, to comfort one another. But remember that in their absence they remain part of our being, and that we carry them with us always, wherever we go. Because a loved one never dies. We may not see their body, but their spirit will always be with us.
